After a delay due to Covid 19 lockdown, update 2.7 for Genshin Impact is releasing today. The update will add two new characters, Yelen a 5 star, hydro bow user and Kuki Shinobu a 4 star, Electro sword user. Yelen will be available in the first wish banner from 31 May to 21 June along with 4 stars, Noelle, Barbara and Yanfei. Xiao 5 star, anemo pole user will also have a rerun wish banner in the first phase.
Phase two is due to start on 21 June and run to 12th July. The new 4 Star Kuki Shinobu will join Arataki Itto’s rerun banner in this phase.
A new permanent story chapter Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act 2 “Perilous Trail” will be added. There is no time limit on this addition, so those new players who haven’t progressed far enough to unlock it yet need not rush. This chapter will continue the adventure in the chasm. Also permanently added is Yelen’s new story quest “Umbrabilis Orchis Chapter”. Players will need to reach Adventure Rank 40 or above and unlock the quest using a story key which can be collected by doing 8 daily commissions.
