And here we go again. Last night, David Ayer gave us the face of the fourth Joker, Jared Leto, in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie.
Aside from the fact that when I saw him I thought that I was looking at Marilyn Manson (not a bad thing by the way), the new Joker takes the DC character to a whole new level of madness, a modern madness – please note the word ‘Damaged‘ tattooed on his forehead. The laughter tats are probably my favourite, and are very reminiscent of the comics. The jester of death watching you from Leto’s right pectoral muscle and the signature toothy grin stretched along his right forearm, also highlight a particularly physical transformation for the Joker.
