Sir Richard Taylor was sporting a great t-shirt at Hobbitcon, a The Dark Crystal one. That was one of Jim Henson’s puppet movies, and Taylor showed his admiration for the original puppeteer, by wearing that t-shirt.
Now, Richard Taylor is WETA’s dad, and as we all know WETA has produced incredible VFX, a very different ballgame from puppetry. So when a member of the audience, at Hobbitcon, asked him to discuss Puppets Vs VFX, Taylor got very excited. Let’s hear it from the man himself.
