SquareEnix have confirmed that physical copies of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be shipping early to Europe and Australia due to concerns of shipping delays caused by the Covid-19 outbreak. This may mean that some physical pre-orders might hit the mat prior to the April 10th release date. SquareEnix have requested that those who do get their copies early, refrain from posting spoilers online. This might sound a strange request for a game that originally released twenty years ago but SquareEnix have confirmed that the new game has new story content and characters which did not exist in the original. You can read the full announcement here.

For those who don’t want to risk getting it late, it might be advisable to go digital as physical game retailers are closed in the UK. The digital version is available on the Playstation Store.
