Sony have given two free games to all PS4 owners as part of their Play At Home initiative, to keep gamers entertained during lockdown. The titles Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey are free to download for all on the PSN store until May 5th. Both of these titles have previously been free as part of the PS Plus monthly games. However, those who either don’t have PS Plus or didn’t have it when the games were available are in for a treat.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.
This collection contains the remastered single player campaigns of the first three games of Naughty Dog’s action adventure franchise Uncharted which follows globe trotting adventurer Nathan Drake in his hunt for ancient treasures. The games were praised for their cast, storyline and graphics and some of the best games of the genre. If you haven’t played them already then these three games will keep you occupied for many hours while you’re trapped and home and are well worth a download.
Journey
An Indie adventure game originally released for the PS3 back in 2012. Journey was praised for its art style and narrative as well as the way it allows players to aid each other towards the games distant goal. The game is widely regarded as a classic and received several game of the year awards on its release. If you haven’t had the opportunity to play this gaming masterpiece then now is certainly the time.
