This is a chance to show the world that the video gaming community is ready to be taken seriously, and that video games deserve to be celebrated for their artistic and creative contributions, that for so long have been overlooked.
I, personally, can’t wait for this event. I’m counting down the days. This is a fantastic event that celebrates the creative medium that I’ve grown up with, and which has become a staple of my daily life, giving me all the adventures and excitement that I could ever want out of life. To see it celebrated on the world stage is a joy and a privilege which I, for one, have no intention to miss.
