Here is a great, charitable way to start 2017!

WIN the chance for you and three friends to visit Scotland’s most exciting sci-fi fantasy convention – Capital Sci-Fi Con (18-19 February 2017).

Held at Meadowbank Sports Centre in Edinburgh, Capital Sci-Fi Con is the ONLY not-for-profit family friendly science-fiction and movie convention in Scotland. Run by sci-fi and fantasy super fan and community fundraiser hero Keith Armour, all profits raised go directly to Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).

THE PRIZE: To celebrate the convention’s second year – Capital Sci-Fi Con is giving away x4 weekend passes for one lucky SFFN reader and three friends (or family members!).

MORE ABOUT THE EVENT: The event will showcase original film and TV memorabilia from world class movies and shows such as Dr Who and Star Wars; live special effects presentations; retro gaming consoles; craft experts to show you how to make your favourite characters costumes as well as TV and film props; AND the hotly anticipated cosplay competition for age groups ‘12 and under’ and ‘13 and over’.

Actors and voice-over artists from the small and silver screen will be making appearances over the weekend along with cult comic book illustrators and writers. Just some of the big names in attendance include Gary Erskine, Pam Rose (Star Wars) and Jon Campling (Harry Potter).

As well as the interactive features, there will also be specialist traders selling a range of artwork, memorabilia, collectables, comics, jewellery and toys.

TO ENTER: There’s nothing else quite like it AND with all profits going to CHAS, it’s for a fantastic cause – so why not try your luck and the answer the following question:

What charity does all the Capital Sci-Fi Con profits go to?

The competition closes on Friday 3 February 2017. To enter email us your answer to [email protected]!
