Bethesda’s website had been sporting the above image for about a day before the announcement, counting down to 3pm GMT today, and speculation was at its highest. It’s finally known – the fourth installment in the great Fallout series will be soon with us.
Not much is known at this stage – we have the promise of a proper reveal for Fallout 4 at this year’s E3 on 14 June at 7pm PST. For now we have a pretty trailer, showing us bits and pieces of the day of the nuclear catastrophe and in-game “present day” from Rex’s point of view. Nothing much by the way of plot/story, but lots of great views. The game looks recognisable and reminds me very much of the Fallout: New Vegas style, which is great news.
This image was posted by Bethesda on Twitter, to go with the trailer and link.
See the trailer for yourself and check back with us on 14 June, when we cover the reveal of Fallout 4 at E3.
