Fans of Stephen King’s It have no doubt been eagerly awaiting the release of the latest trailer for the second adaptation of his 1986 horror masterpiece. While the original screen version benefitted from an iconic turn by Tim Curry as Pennywise the not-so-friendly clown, it was a patchy affair hindered in particular by a poorly rendered conclusion.
Hopes have been high for this new version however, thanks in no small part to its creepy teaser images and trailers. Indeed, the new trailer further seems to confirm that the upcoming film will dispense with the humorous tics that Curry brought to his version of the clown anti-prince. It certainly looks promising.
