This weekend will see Showmasters Film and Comic Con visiting Manchester, and SFFN will be there to report. There will be panels, there will be stalls, and there will be special guests, all with sharpies at the ready to dole out autographs. There are also photo opportunities up for grabs, too.
Amongst the special guests will be Doctor Who stars;
Noel Clarke (Micky Smith / Ricky Smith),
John Levene (Benton check out our interview),
Jimmy Vee (who we have interviewed a couple of times).
Expect to see a couple of interviews with these guests coming up here on SFFN in the upcoming weeks.
Star Wars fans will get a chance to meet Kenny Baker (the original R2D2), Dave Prowse (original Darth Vader, who we also interviewed recently), Marc Rolfe (who was one of the Knights of Ren in The Force Awakens), and more besides.
There are also plenty of Harry Potter guests (including Devon Murray and Jessie Cave), Red Dwarf’s Mac McDonald, and even Jacquelin Pearce for the Blake’s 7 fans.
The convention runs from the 21st – 22nd May 2016 and is at Event City in Urmston, Manchester. It has many options for all modes of transport and over 3,000 parking spaces – ideally located adjacent to The Trafford Centre.
