The most influential Si Fi film ever made.
I was toying with the idea of adding a question mark at the end of the title, but when you consider that Fritz Lang made Metropolis in 1927, you can at least give it the credit of being at least “influential” big style.
Jay Johnstone, very inspired by the Robot Exhibition in Newcastle where he also got to see the original Maria robot from Metropolis, has put together this great montage on Metropolis.
Some of you may have only seen scenes from Metropolis in the Queen’s music video of Radio Ga Ga: if so, this is your chance to get better acquainted with this black and white classic.
