Peter Davison, the Fifth Doctor, has warned of an ‘almost unstoppable rise of middle-class actors’ taking over the industry. Speaking to us at this year’s TV and Movie Fest, Peter Davison talked about how the industry has become a lot more closed off to people from the working-class and middle-income families to get started, and that it is now a lot harder to make a living.

In the interview we talk about his career, how he got into acting, and how he feels he has changed over the years. We also touched on his role in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, composing the theme to Button Moon and the more recent special ‘The Five-ish Doctors (reboot)‘.
