While the Xbox Series X exclusive list looks longer most of its launch titles are cross platform titles (not listed above) and optimised Xbox One titles.
It’s also worth noting that Microsoft have announced that all its first party launch titles will also be available for its current console generation, whereas Sony have said that its exclusives will be solely available on the PS5. Whether this decision will end up hurting Sony’s game sales remains to be seen, but seems likely as availability and uptake of next gen consoles will initially be limited.
With the next gen launch fast approaching, games for both consoles are still being announced, although the launch line ups seem complete unless there are some unlikely last-minute surprises.
