The Arthur C Clarke Award is one of the UK’s most prestigious science fiction prize, and last night it went to British author AdrianΒ Tchaikovsky.

The novel β€˜Children of Time’, revolves around the remnants of humanity as they leave Earth for a terraformed new planet which, as it turns out, has already been occupied by a new species.
