This evening the SFFN will join Capital Sci-fi Con at various Cinemas celebrating the midnight premier release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
There will be various costumed characters at each of the following venues
Edinburgh Cineworld: Fountainpark Vue Cinema: Livingston
Odeon: Dunfermline
Dressed in full Star Wars costumes, creating excitement among eager fans at the Edinburgh cinema’s premier showing, the ‘causeplayers’ will also be raising money for CHAS, which cares for children with life-shortening conditions, and their families, across Scotland.
All profits from Capital Sci-Fi Con are donated to CHAS – this year’s convention raised over £75,000! Next year’s convention held 3-4 February 2018 is set to be even bigger, with a new home of the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.
Watch out for little candies on our socials, tonight. We would love to bring the video camera inside the cinema, but you know… they’d arrest us… the force is not that strong with us, enough to convince anybody that we need to bring the recording equipment inside… so…
