As promised in our chat on 1st October with John Cockshaw and Robert S Malan, here, for the first time in its entirety, is the short film The Sign of the Shining Beast. The film is a surrealist walk through an undefined subconscious reality.
Employing Rorschachian visual elements, it is a fractured and haunting exploration of what could be … might have been … never was.
A literary adaptation of the film will form one half of the graphic novel, A Darkness In Mind: Quest & The Sign of the Shining Beast, the first instalment of a new Dark Fantasy series from Luna Press Publishing (release date 22nd of March 2016).
