Following on from the success of the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, which comprised of remakes of the original three games, Toys for Bob are now getting ready to release an all new Crash Bandicoot game following on from the end of the third game, Crash Bandicoot: Warped. Set for release on October 2nd, the game is said to feature 100 levels, which is more than all three of the original games combined, and will introduce new worlds, new playable characters and new powers with four new masks to collect. With the reward for going digital confirmed as a new skin for Crash and Coco, it would seem that players will also be able to collect multiple new looks throughout the game.

While some players were less than thrilled at the announcement of 100 plus levels, with some concern that the gameplay might get repetitive or that the quality of the levels might suffer in the pursuit of quantity. It is important to remember Toys for Bob’s recent track record which produced the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy involving the recreation of 6 games in total from the ground up, all of which were completed to a high standard. I, personally, think they might just be able to pull off 100 new levels of good quality content, but only time will tell. Feel free to check out the trailer at the top of the article to see what the fourth title has on offer.
