Yes, this article comes from the heaving metropolis of London, a magnet for both humans and Pokémon alike. But where in London do the best Pokémon hang out? What types of Pokémon can you get where and where does that rare one lurk that you’ve always wanted? Well, I’ve hit the streets of London to find out and paid a visit to some of the most famous tourist hotspots in the hopes of finding equally famous Pokémon. And what were the results? Feel free to check the out below.

It’s worth remembering that the types of Pokémon encountered in an area is partly determined by your trainer level. I was at level 14 most of the session with a friend with me at level 15 and we didn’t always get the same types spawning until I levelled up and we became the same level. There is no hard and fast rule as to which Pokémon will be present. The types of Pokémon can also be dependent on the time of day, so I’ve added the time of day next to each location.

I’ve separated the Pokémon seen in the area into three categories: Common, Uncommon and Rare. These are graded on their abundance in each location and not city wide. Those marked as uncommon in one place may be marked as common in another. This should help if people want to track down the easiest location for a specific Pokémon.

Unfortunately at the end of my visit to this location, the Pokémon Go servers went down for the whole afternoon. As such, while I had many more locations planned, I had to stop here for the time being.

To be continued… When servers permit.
