On 2nd November to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the PSVR, three PSVR games were added to the PS Plus free downloads. The three games available are The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners and Until You Fall. All three titles are only available until 6th January 2022, so time is running out if you haven’t grabbed them yet. Read on below for more details.
The Persistence
A VR survival horror. The persistence challenges you to survive aboard a space colony starship which has been overrun with aberrations. The aim is to survive long enough to restore power to the ship and escape back to earth. With randomly generated environments each attempt will be different to the last.
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners
Also a VR survival horror, this title is based on the comic book series franchise The Walking Dead. The game has a story mode and a crafting system allowing players to make their own weapons, items and ammunition for killing the Walker hordes that might be chasing them. The game got good reviews on release with it named as one of the best VR experiences to date. If you have VR and don’t have this title then it should be well worth a download.
Until You Fall
If survival horrors are not your cup of tea then this offer might be more for you as Until You Fall is a VR sword fighting, hack and slash game where you fight monsters in a fantasy world. The story casts you as the last Rune Knight in a battle to free the ruins from monsters with sword and sorcery. The game has received good reviews and should be well worth a download if you have a PSVR to hand.
